Basement Den

Scope A dark, warm, wood-heavy basement den and media room with an intentionally finished concrete floor, not a drywall-everything generic finished basement.

General notes

  1. Vermont basement: watch moisture, ventilation, and dehumidification; don't trap moisture behind finishes.
  2. Radon tested at 1.5 pCi/L (below the EPA action level of 4), not a blocker.
  3. Design direction: dark walls, natural wood kept visible, warm lighting, no plants, more art and objects.
